Taiwan Revealed: AI Technology Island

To tell a story that highlights Taiwan's role in the global semiconductor industry, we collaborated with leading companies such as TSMC, ASML, Acer, and GSA, and traveled to Prague to document its impact in Europe.

Inside Taiwan: Health Care

Taiwan leverages technology for healthcare innovation, including telemedicine and digital health solutions, contributing to the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services.
During the production, I conducted pre-interviews with over two dozen individuals, ranging from top-tier health officials to common people, to identify and highlight compelling stories that accurately reflect today’s medical landscape.

The manufacturing industry has faced significant challenges in recent years, but companies like Techman Robot and Fukuta are driving positive change and continuous innovation to keep up with the times.
The project achieved over 340K views, demonstrating a high audience engagement. In early stage, we worked closely with the companies to identify compelling subjects emblematic of the transition into the AI era. The editing focused on simplifying complex manufacturing technology, making it easily understandable while maintaining an engaging narrative.

A personal passion project dedicated to showcasing my grandmother's remarkable cooking skills and her extensive knowledge of Taiwanese cuisine. Each video on the channel focuses on a single dish, telling a story of family, traditions, ingredients, and history. With over a million views and 19k followers, the channel has received widespread appreciation for preserving and sharing the stories behind these traditional Taiwanese foods.

Master Class: Glove Puppet Theater

Nominated for 58th Golden Bell Award (National TV &Broadcast Award in Taiwan)
Glove Puppet Theater is once the most popular traditional art form in Taiwan. Through out the age it has transformed into many different styles, from religious temple celebration to televised entertainment. The documentary follows the journey of a commercially successful troupe leader Yi-Chun Wang apprenticing to a grand master to seek enlightenment to the traditional art form.
In the beginning of this project, we dedicated significant time to identify characters who could help navigate the multifaceted world of glove puppetry. As an editor, I work with the team to leverage the unique visual styles of puppet performance to establish engaging characters. Despite the limited timeframe for production, we successfully tells a story that shows both the appretice's transformation towards fine art and the wide spectrum of the glove puppetry art in Taiwan

Building Icons: Tao Zhu Yin Yuan

A Tree-like residential building is being constructed in the middle of city, Taipei. The film tells the story of a man's dream to plant a green building in the city and the challenge it faced building such a revolutional icon.
Over a decade-long span, from planning to completion,the project has amassed 30 T of footage. As an editing assistant, I collaborated closely with a remote editor, providing support in organizing, logging, and selecting the extensive footage. With such the work we put in, the film demonstrated contents and visuals covering a wide array of topics, including design, art, gardening, applied mechanics, and construction technology.
